The name really sells itself. It is pasta, it is delicious, and it is me who has been making it for years and years. I made this a ton when I was a kid because it was so good and easy and a crowd pleaser!!
1 box bow tie pasta
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
1 lb sweet italian sausage
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (more if you like spice)
1/2 cup diced onion
3 minced garlic cloves
1 can petite diced tomatoes, drained
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
Start a pot of water, cook pasta as directed on box.
Brown the sausage in the olive oil. Halfway through, add red pepper flakes. Once sausage is brown, add garlic and onions.
When onions are clear, add in tomatoes and cream. Simmer for about 10 minutes or until thickened. (Make sure to stir it or else the cream will burn.)
Strain pasta and add to the sauce. Stir all together and enjoy!
